Weekly Meeting – Parkinson Awareness Choir
Wednesday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Tallahassee Memorial Rehabilitation Center, 1609 Medical Drive. The choir welcomes anyone interested in Parkinson’s; people who want to strengthen their voices or those who just enjoy singing. We meet at 2 p.m., every Wednesday, in the TMH Rehabilitation Center Cafeteria on the first floor. Beware! You’ll be asked to scream, make noises like a siren, recite tongue twisters and dance a little. Best of all, sessions are free! Ongoing members are encouraged to buy a choir shirt for $20.
Monthly Meeting – Caregiver Support Group
Saturday. 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Usually scheduled the last Saturday of each month. Check the event calendar for location. (free)
Quarterly Meeting – NPF North Florida Retreat
The NPF North Florida Retreat is a day for PD friends to get together for fun activities, respite for caregivers and good food! (free) Lafayette Presbyterian Church, 4220 Mahan Drive. Check calendar for scheduled quarterly dates.
Annual Symposium/Retreat
The NPF North Florida Chapter in collaboration with the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Parkinson Center presents educational topics, provides entertainment along with a light breakfast and lunch. 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Lafayette Presbyterian Church, 4220 Mahan Drive.
